In this guide, we will look at common configuration errors that may arise from your Salesforce integration with Saleswhale and how to resolve them.

What are Salesforce configuration errors?

Salesforce configuration errors are generally caused by incorrect setup or lack of permissions in the Salesforce account connected to Saleswhale.

Resolving common configuration errors

  • Saleswhale package not installed: Ensure both Saleswhale packages are installed. The Salesforce integration will not work with a partial installation. Learn how to set up your Salesforce integration.

  • Insufficient permissions: Ensure the connected Salesforce account has sufficient permissions to edit Lead and/or Contact objects.

  • Connection issue: Contact support to further diagnose the issue.

For any other errors, contact support@saleswhale.com for further troubleshooting.
