In this guide, we will look at how to create new Sequences via Qualification Rules.
Each Sequence corresponds with a Qualification Rule in the bot's Topic Template; each Sequence can be edited to include multiple Touchpoints and customized messaging.
There are Standard Rules (i.e. Out-of-the-box Qualification Rules) and Custom Rules. For Custom Rules, contact us at email@example.com or reach out to your Saleswhale Customer Success team.
There are two ways to access your Topic Qualification Rules.
Method 1: Hover over the Sequence you would like to add Qualification Rules for to locate the editor button; select the button to continue.
Method 2: Click the Sequence you would like to add Qualification Rules for to bring up the popup preview. From this preview window, select "Edit Sequence" to continue.
Toggle the "Set Up Rules" tab.
Under the "Qualify Rules" section, select "Add Qualification Rules."
From the dropdown menus, you can configure Qualification Rules. If you have Custom Rules set, you will see them in the drop down menu. For Custom Rules, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or reach out to your Saleswhale Customer Success team.
To the right of each rule, you can choose to delete the corresponding rule; you can also add a new rule.
When you are done configuring your rules for the specific Sequence, select "Save" to save your changes.
You can see the new Sequences you have created when you navigate back to overview of your Topic Template.
A Topic Template can only be published when:
- all Sequences contain at least one touchpoint, and
- all final Sequences are a terminal Sequence.
