Reply as Bot: Adding, deleting, and changing recipients

In this guide, we will look at how to add recipients to a conversation when you are replying as your bot. This includes:

You can confirm the main addressee and additional recipients of your bot's message by matching the email addresses listed in the editor header with those you have selected for or input in the CC fields.

Change the main recipient of the email

Navigate to the conversation where you would like to Reply as Bot. From the editor, locate the To field and select the dropdown menu.

From the drop down menu, you can select one address to be the main recipient. This list includes all the email addresses included in the most recent email from the lead to your bot.

 

CC of a defined Saleswhale Qualified Leads Handoff rep

Navigate to the conversation where you would like to Reply as Bot. From the editor, locate the CC field and select the dropdown menu.

From the drop down menu, you can select from any of the Qualified Leads Handoff reps defined in Saleswhale. Note: If the lead has a lead owner, the lead owner will be tagged within the list.

CC of new or third-party email addresses

Navigate to the conversation where you would like to Reply as Bot. From the editor, locate the CC field and select the Add button to the right.

A freeform text field will appear below the drop down menu, allowing you to type in any email address. Note: Any email addresses included in this freeform text field will not be stored as a new lead in your Saleswhale app.

Once you are ready to proceed with your reply, click "Send."
