- Stop an ongoing conversation with a lead
In the event that you want your bot to stop a conversation that your bot is attempting to have or already having with a lead, you can manually cancel the conversation.
To get started, navigate to the Conversations panel.
Turn on the Filters.
Use the Search field to search for a name or email. The search picks up on email addresses and company names. Other Search fields can be used if you have multiple conversations with the same lead or company, and want to further refine your search.
Click Search to the right to bring up the conversations that meet the defined Filter.
Locate the lead you want the bot to stop engaging in conversation. Hover over the three dots to the right of the lead to prompt a drop-down menu; from the drop down menu, select "Cancel Conversation."
If you are prompted to confirm the cancellation, select the "Confirm" button to continue.
The conversation with your prospect has now been successfully cancelled. To double check, you can also look for the red "Canceled" stamp status.
