What does the bot do with inbound emails?

Ad-hoc, inbound emails are defined as "spontaneous" emails. These will be flagged to your Human Review agent as a Human Review task.

Your Saleswhale bot is built to filter out irrelevant content and stay out of the conversation when someone internal is involved. This means that when the bot receives ad-hoc, inbound emails from both previously-engaged leads and new contacts, it will automatically filter away:

  • Spam mails
  • Promotional mails
  • Emails received from addresses on the same email domain as your bot
  • Emails from reps defined as Qualified Lead Handoff reps in the Saleswhale app
  • Emails where your bot is in cc, and any of the two above points are relevant
